Vesta
With an academic background in art and literature, this artist combines her knowledge with lived experience to shape her work. Supporting Survivors of Domestic Abuse, she explores creativity as a way to process and rebuild, as well as using art to express both vulnerability and strength while helping others feel seen and understood.
Anon Survivor
This anonymous artist creates from a place of strength. Following her experience of domestic abuse, her work became a powerful outlet for processing trauma, reclaiming identity, and finding moments of peace within chaos. Each piece reflects a deeply personal journey, transforming pain into expression and resilience into something visible.
Cat Wood
Cat's practice explores two contrasting yet deeply connected perspectives, first developed during her time at York St John University. One side confronting the harsh nightmare reality that life can present, reflecting mental illness, abuse, and lived experiences that many may recognise, relate to, or empathise with. The other offers a deliberate shift in perspective, turning away from these realities to embrace escapism and fantasy. Through this lens, Cat reimagines the world as something softer, safer, and more hopeful - a space where pain is transformed and possibilities expand.
